We forget…

We forget that the Garden of Eden was the perfect place, set high on a mountain. 

We forget that God walked the Garden. His presence dwelled there unlike anywhere else on earth. 

We forget that though sin entered, it was humanity’s choice, not God’s. 

His plan for humanity was beautiful and perfect. It was the most wonderful. 

But we couldn’t obey. We just had to touch the one thing that was off limits. Thus setting into effect rules and regulations. 

Shame and blame entered. 

We forget that God expelled humanity from dwelling with Him in the perfect place of Eden. 

We forget though that God extended His grace through Jesus. 

We forget that He reached for us in the beginning, all the way to now. And He won’t stop. He is relentless in His pursuit of us.
